Certified Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach

I’ve been mulling over this for a while. In my life lately I’ve been wanting to start helping people. I wasn’t sure where to start so I started doing my research. There was a course a few friends of mine had taken called “The Precision Nutrition Sports and Exercise Nutrition Course”. I was super curious so I asked around, and learned as much as I could about this course. The methodology spoke to me – simple easy to follow nutrition. Since I’m so involved in the running / obstacle course community this really spoke to me. I could learn about nutrition, help my family with our eating and then reach out and help others.

I saved up for the course and took the studying very seriously. Week by week I learned more and more about eating well and being well. My main goal when starting this certification program was to finish before Christmas, and that I did. With a course average of 91% I became a certified nutrition coach.

It feels almost unreal – finding something I was super interested in, going after it and completing it. I received my official certificates in the mail shortly after, and will get them framed when I get some time.

With this certification I have also decided to start my own business – within the next month or two I’ll be starting an online nutrition coaching business to share my knowledge with others and to help people.

Changes are coming and I can’t be more excited / scared at the same time. I’m not going to jump into starting my business without having my eyes wide open – I want to ensure I have everything setup properly before the launch. But it feels good to have completed the first step with the support of my friends and family.
